Seminar in Plant Breeding

Agron/Hort/Gen 957

Fall 2003

The seminar this semester will be moderated by John Doebley and Tony Bleecker.

The class will meet at 3:30 on Fridays in room 108 Plant Science Building.

Our topic will be "Plant Development". The format will be for the students to select a research article within one of the designated topical areas to present to the class. The speaker should also read several additional articles, especially reviews, on that topic. The presentation should be 30 minutes including ~10 minutes of general background information and ~20 minutes dedicated to the specific research article that is being presented.
